Most individuals choose counselling for a reason that is specific to their needs.
We all experience a time in our lives when we feel a little low, are worried or distressed.
Feelings like these could be because of specific difficulties, such as anxiety or bereavement or
perhaps a general sense of feeling 'down' and not sure of the reason why.
Counselling offers the opportunity to explore these genuine concerns in a confidential,
non-judgemental setting with someone who is trained to help.
Talking through your issues with someone who is really listening and trying to understand how it is for you,
without judging, can make a real difference.
We offer counselling to women on a range of issues in regards to their health and overall well-being.
Issues that are covered include: Stress Management, Relationship Issues,
Anxiety Post Natal Issues Grief and Bereavement, Self Esteem Building, Time Management, Weight Issues, Other General Counselling.
We provide professional counselling to pre teens and adolescents covering issues such as;
VCE mentoring during year 12 studies, Self Esteem, Relationship Issues (Including family and friendship)
Anxiety, Stress, Anger, Conflict Resolution, Grief and Bereavement, School Disengagement
and any other counselling issues as requested.
All counsellors need to have supervision hours to uphold their professional membership with Australian Counselling Association. Ski Counselling offers professional supervision for practicing counsellors.
Supervision aims to identify solutions to problems, improve practice and increase understanding of professional and clinical issues.
Supervisors have the responsibility to provide ongoing training in the context of related supervised experiences to enable supervisees to deliver effective and ethical services.
